Arcadia!
Here is what you need to know to play this year’s game: NOTHING!
Here is what you need to bring to play this year’s game: yourself (and friends!), a
costume that fits in the medieval setting, a character name and background, and
game weapons if you like (there will be plenty for sale in the general store…for
Arcadian coin).
If you must know more…read on for some details about Arcadia.
1. Arcadia is like visiting an arcade crossed with a video game.
2. The action starts early! It is possible to begin the game soon after you arrive.
3. There are hundreds of quests to challenge everyone and a game tutorial to get everyone started.
4. There is real money in Arcadia and you can use it to help you in the game or to buy cool prizes! There is a bank for those who fear thieves.
5. Death in Arcadia is not permanent; you simply re-spawn like in a video game.
You will see how easy it is to adventure in Arcadia! Remember that any preparation you do on your costume and character will enhance the experience and maybe even prevent a few deaths.
